LEARN TO KNIT IN DOWNTOWN ELGIN
Elgin Knit Works is a welcoming and patient environment for students brand new to knitting. Whether you’ve never attempted knitting before or need to brush-up on your skills, our Learn-to-Knit classes will be the perfect fit. Skills we concentrate on for beginners include the long-tale cast on, knitting and binding off. Time permitting we will also practice purling, increasing and decreasing.
Learn to Knit classes are scheduled on an individual or semi-private basis and are available Wednesdays through Saturdays. Your class time will be coordinated with you and the teacher. To ensure your reserved class time payment must be received in full at the time of scheduling. All classes are held in our Downtown Elgin knit shop.
